Description
Lemon Scented Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora) is an important forest tree native to tropical eastern Australia. Valued for timber and honey production its leaves also yield an essential oil rich in citronellal. Possessing a distinctive lemon-scented aroma, with a pleasant floral back note, this oil finds application in a wide variety of personal care, cosmetic and perfumery products. It is an effective antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial and is a wonderful natural plant based, non-toxic, insect repellent.
