NEW Steam Boiler Commissioned
In December 2017, Golden Grove commenced the upgrade of the existing distillery with a new 3.5MW Watertube Steam Boiler. This project was completed in June 2018 and has created efficiencies in distillation activities resulting in reductions to running costs.
NEW Warehouse Completed
In 2018, Golden Grove constructed a purpose built 700m² warehouse, replacing the original structure damaged in the 2017 floods. New 10,000 & 20,000 litre stainless steel oil storage tanks were part of this installation.
UPDATED Laboratory Equipment Installed
In 2018, Golden Grove renovated existing buildings on the site, creating a commercial office and QC laboratory. The acquisition of GC-FID & GC-MS equipment has allowed Golden Grove to provide in house and commercial oil analysis services.
NEW Oil Transfer System
In 2019, Golden Grove acquired and installed a state-of-the-art oil transfer system, further creating efficiencies in the packaging and dispatch of essential oils to its clients.
NEW Seedling Nursery Established
In 2019, Golden Grove constructed a seedling nursery consisting of two large igloos and outdoor hardening areas. Seedling stock from many species grown in this nursery will enable future expansion of the plantation.
