Description
Wild boronia (Boronia spp.) is a plant in the citrus family (Rutaceae). Endemic to the south-west of Western Australia it is a slender, erect shrub with aromatic leaves and flowers. The oil derived through steam distillation of the leaves and flowers has a deep, rich flowery aroma. It is used extensively in the aromatic industry in the manufacture of a wide range of perfumes and other scented products.
